I
Ching Seminar for Beginners / 15-12-2002 |
Description:
This seminar is for those of you who are motivated to make a
new beginning by "learning how to learn" all you need to know
about life from the Sage that teaches through the I Ching.
In this seminar you will learn, through group and individual
practice, a direct way of communicating with the Sage. The Sage
always shows you the inner truth of situations, thus enables
you to correct problems at their roots. By allowing yourself
to be guided by the Sage, you learn to identify and deal with
attitudes that are based on faulty ideas about the Cosmos and
its Way, which ideas repetitively cause problems in your life. |
Advanced
I Ching Seminar (I)
/ 15-01-2003 |
Description:
This seminar is for participants who regard the I Ching as their
primary guide, and have applied it to their lives for at least
two years.
The seminar will take you into the new way of learning from
the Sage, as mentioned above, and help you see how the inner
oracle text is different from the historical layers that have
been superimposed upon it.
The main focus of this seminar will be on giving you an understanding
of your true nature that is innately in harmony with the Cosmos;
it will also give you an understanding of the human ego as a
foreign, parasitic element in a person's psyche. The ego consists
of programs that are based on faulty ideas about man's true
nature and about the Cosmic Way. While it tries to make a person
believe that it only acts in his best interest, it operates
as an inner robber, separating him more and more from his original
unity with the Cosmic Whole, and creating what the I Ching calls
"misfortune," both in the person's inner condition and outer
circumstances.
In this seminar you will learn a procedure by which you can
recognize and rid yourself of the faulty ideas that prevent
you from being in harmony with your true nature. This is the
kind of inner work the I Ching refers to in the phrase, "undertakings
bring good fortune." Similar key phrases, such as "it furthers
one to see the Great Man," or "it furthers one to have somewhere
to go," gain a new understanding when they are seen in the context
of the inner work to which the hidden text of the I Ching wants
to draw your attention. Recognizing faulty ideas that lead to
misfortune is also referred to in the I Ching as "recognizing
the seeds." Indeed, when you deal with these seeds, a whole
tree comes down with them. The key to this inner work is learning
to say the inner No! |
I
Ching for Professionals (I) / 15-02-2003 |
Description:
This seminar is a tutorial for those of you who wish to develop
a practice by which psychosocial and health problems are dealt
with through applying I Ching principles. This group is envisioned
as including persons wishing to start an I Ching consultation
practice, as well as health practitioners such as acupuncturists,
chiropractors, and persons working with the psyche.
You will learn to identify and liberate your client from faulty
mental programs that cause inner disorder and disharmony, and
which are often the reason for their illness.
The course will focus on how the psyche is instrumental in the
health of the body, and how, for example, internalized words,
phrases, and images that falsely describe things, block the
self-healing abilities of the psyche. The course will illuminate
these and other disturbances, including traumas, that have resulted
in the psyche and body no longer operating as a harmonious whole. |
